The weather station used to provide weather data to this website is the Davis Vantage Pro2 (Model 6152) with an added UV sensor and a Daytime Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield Kit. Davis Instrument's solar powered, integrated sensor suite combines a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, and anemometer into one package—making the setup easy and improving performance and reliability.

We also use the Davis WeatherLink (Model 6510USB) software and data logger package. The data logger fits into the weather station's console and transmits the weather data to this website using the WeatherLink software.

The weather station is located in the Town of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.
